BARBER-NICHOLS, INC. TO SHOWCASE TURBOPUMP DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE CAPABILITIES AT THE 42nd ANNUAL JOINT PROPULSION CONFERENCE & EXHIBIT
Arvada, CO: June 19, 2006 -- Barber-Nichols, Inc. (BNI) will be showcasing its turbopump design and manufacturing capabilities at the 42nd Annual AIAA/ASME/SAE/ASEE Joint Propulsion Conference & Exhibit. The event is taking place at the Sacramento Convention Center on July 9th through the 12th; BNI will be in Booth Number 802 by the main entrance.
This year's Joint Propulsion Conference theme will be "The Impulse to Explore - Igniting a Passion for Space." On this 80th anniversary of the world's first successful liquid fuel rocket launch, the conference will focus on the need to make access to space affordable, and the need to inspire a passion for space in the next generation.
Barber-Nichols has designed and manufactured more new liquid rocket engine turbopumps in the last ten years than any other U.S. company. Innovative designs and the use of advanced materials drive the development process. As a result, turnaround time is quick and the final product is lightweight, reliable, and economical.
